Mug Rug

I made this Rug Mug for my aunt for Thanksgiving.
It's not the same size as the rest of the Mug Rugs you see on people's blogs.
Didn't want to give it up...but I did!!!
I am going to make one for myself using the same fabrics.
Paper Pieced the top together, then hand quilted it.
I did reverse binding on this one...very easy.
Give it a try if you haven't already.

Disney Sunshine

Thinking about Disney Sunshine on this gloomy, rainy, windy day in New England.
Rain suppose to stop for tomorrow.
Last night we lost power for almost 12 hours. Can back on in the wee hours of Sunday.

Mash Potatos In Chicken Soup?

I made homemade chicken soup for dinner today.
My family puts mashed potatos in our chicken soup. Helps cool it down a little and make it creamy.
Boy, Oh boy was it good!!!!

Sylvia's SAL My Little Heart

I found this SAL while surfing the web back in January. Didn't start with everyone else... but I've caught up. I can't wait for the next block to come out. I just think this is so darn cute.

Oriental Girl Bookmark

I found this chart on the web somewhere (dont' remember where). It is a cross stitch chart, but I used 10 mesh plastic canvas to make her. Isn't she cute?

Bluebirds Bookmark

Here is another cross stitched bookmark. The pattern is from one of those British cross stitch magazines (I can't remember which one). It was a free chart insert that you get in them. The insert is called Sunny Spring bookmarks. 3 bookmarks are included. I've already made 2 of them. So I have one more to go. They don't have individual names. I just named this one myself.

Bookmarks

It's been awhile since I've blogged. But I've still been stitching.
Here are some bookmarks that I've made in the New Year.
These are from the leaflet Bookmarks For Kids from True Colors Cross Stitch.
They are from top to bottom: Read, Love To Read & Save The Earth.
