Buzzing Around Biscornu

This is a Baraba Ana design. You can find it here: http://www.cyberstitchers.com/PatternLibrary/index.asp
This is the first biscornu that I made. I just love the bee design. Check out her other designs too. I've also made, Tea, Coffee & Flip Flop Summer.

Grand Abecedaire SAL

I found this SAL at Gazette 94's blog...here's the link http://gazette94.blogspot.com/
I still have to take a picture of my progress and send it over to the blog. I'm almost finished with part 3.

BOOKMARKS

Just some of the bookmarks I've made for my collection. I'll try to take more photos soon.

More Pincushions

The one on the top is from the web. Don't remember where I found it. I thought it was very pretty. Was suppose to be a biscornia but I made it into a regular pincushion with a button in the middle.
The Pins pincushion is plastic cavnas. I made this several years ago. But never finished it until recently. This design is out of Annie' Attic Quick & Easy Pattern Club Aug.-Setp. 1990 Number 64. As you can see I've collected a huge library of patterns. I have magazines going back to the late 70's.

Chair Pincushion

This pincushion is from the Leisure Arts Leaflet #2029 Best Bazaar 12 Designs To Crochet. This was very easy to make.

Two Christmas Ornaments

I made these ornaments for my great aunts for Christmas. I still have them because I didn't see them yet. Both designs are free charts off the web. I love finding free designs on line. I've made a lot of things using them.

Snowman Wall Hanging

I made this Snowman wall hanging a few years back. My first attempt at applique. Fell in love with it. I've made several other wall hangings using that techinque since then. None are finished out. I'll have to pull them out and finish them up.

Halloween Wall Hanging

This is a Halloween mini wall hanging I made for my cousin for Christmas. Yes Christmas..she loves Halloween.

My Photos

Here's a link to all my pictures on Photo Bucket. It seems the background I have chosen for my blog is not cooperating with blogger on photo size. Even the smallest setting is too big. I'll have to mess around with this. So in the mean time check out my photos.

I'M BACK!!!!!!

I'm going to try to blog at least once a week. This is my over the New Year's resolution that I've just made to myself.
As you can see, I've changed the name and look of my blog. I like this very much. I enjoy just looking at it. Hopefully I will keep my resolution.
I've been cross stitching, crocheting, and sewing. I finally finished the top of the Circle quilt. I hope my SIL is still willing to quilt it for me. This quilt weighs a ton already.
Got a new camera for Christmas. So new photos should be coming (hopefully). I probably should call this blog Hopeful Scraps from my needle!!
